About Aaron Smith

I was born and raised in and around the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. I am a former software developer with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. In my teen years, I discovered a passion for science fiction and fantasy novels. This interest grew to include my first creative outlet: pen-and-paper role-playing games. I crafted adventures where my friends played the main characters and helped drive my stories through to their exciting conclusions. When my programming career came to a natural close, I turned to writing while being a stay-at-home father. My inspiration for my first series, The Breach, was based on an adventure with family and friends. I have many more stories in me and hope that you will enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
